Author Bio

I grew up wandering the West Coast, spending much of my time in Washington State. I was a voracious reader who used to bring home paper bags full of books from the library every few days, then return them for more.

Fun fact: when I was a little girl, I was bitten by my great uncle Ivar's pet capuchin monkey while feeding it a Tootsie Roll Pop. (He gave me a nasty jungle disease. Bad monkey.) I'm still not sure if the moral of this story is "Don't keep a monkey as your pet," or "don't feed Tootsie Roll Pops to pet monkeys." Pretty sure both are good advice.

Currently I am working on my first novel, of the dystopian suspense variety. My first novella, "Shadow Land Motel," was published in October, 2014, in the anthology Through the Portal. You can purchase it on Amazon here, in paperback or ebook.

Through the Portal

I write because I have stories to tell. Way too many stories to tell.
